Beric Painting & Design is a family owned business originating in Slovenia, in 
1947, with master painter, Franc Beric.
With European style work ethics, which were passed down to his sons, Franc earned a Masters Degree in painting from the Slovenian government before moving on, to specialise in imitating rare timbers such as mahogany and walnuts, which were scarce after World War 2.
In 1958, Franc and his family were forced to flee Europe as his successful painting business did not sit well with the communist ways of the former country of Yugoslavia. The following year, Beric Painting & Decorating Services was formed in Melbourne and specialised in high quality, mirror finishes (two pack finish) for industrial and commercial work.
In 1968, Franc’s eldest son Murray, apprenticed with his father and then 3 years later, Franc’s youngest son, Frank, joined the family business, too.
Today, Beric Painting and Design is based on the Gold Coast, QLD, and is run by eldest son, Murray. The business services the east coast of Australia - from Brisbane down to Melbourne & including Canberra, providing its clients with all aspects of painting and decorating, including repairs.
Beric Painting & Design is based on the old school teachings of painting and decorating, where preparation, philosophy and product knowledge is key to a successful job. Beric Painting & Design prides themselves on their work and having satisfied, happy clients. They will not cut corners on any job; ensuring that their work lasts for a long time, as is evidenced on buildings they worked on all those years ago, in Melbourne. The Beric family has a reputation for being honest, hard-working and efficient.
